McWilliams Electric Co., Inc. has an extensive and above average
safety program that is in compliance with the OSHA 29CGFR1910, 1200, Hazardous
Communication Standards Act, incepted in 1988, and Local, State, and Federal laws .
McWilliams Electric prides itself on their high Safety Rating and continuous training of office and field personnel. This level of excellence has won McWilliams several OSHA Awards and can be contributed to McWilliams Electric's Safety Director Jerry McGlynn who has had extensive training in all areas of construction safety, and is certified as an instructor for the O.S.H.A. 10 and 30 hour courses. He has also completed Competent Person Training in Fall Protection and is a Certified Community First Aid and CPR instructor. Jerry ensures that all employees of McWilliams Electric are fully educated on all safety procedures and oversees safety meetings for all employees and supervisory staff that are scheduled once a week. These meetings are used to demonstrate accident prevention.
